We typically push updates to our Desktop (truck) app every few months. You'll want to be on the latest and greatest so you receive all the latest features.
How do I know if an update is available?
Whenever an update to our Truck (or Web) app is available, there is a little yellow "Click to Update" button in the lower left. It's located above your Account avatar and Truck Settings.
If your left-hand nav bar is collapsed, it will just be a small icon.
Do I have to download the update?
Not right away. But we do not recommend you fall too far behind on app updates.
If an update has been out for a long time and you haven't updated, we may show you a banner reminding you.
What are the steps to update?
Click the "Click to update"

3. Click "Download Now"

4. The new app will download in the background. You can keep working in PIONEER.
The new app may take a few minutes to download, depending on your bandwith.
The lower left of your app will be animated with "Updating"
5. When the update is complete, you will get a message like this:
6. Click "Install and Restart Pioneer"
7. You may get some Windows alerts. Giver the software Internet access to at least "Private networks"
What about my Truck Settings?
Good News: when PIONEER restarts, your settings and the pointer to your local inspections folder will be preserved.
